Some epic... thing

Scanty Demon

Seeing as I recently finished Spec Ops (I'm probably going to be constantly mentioning the game) I was inspired to write something similar to it in a sense. What I want to write is a critique or deconstruction of the Order of Mata Nui's ability to not worry about someone judging them for their actions. I also want to make similar to the CIA in that they do things that they think are good but in the end cause more harm. I want to deconstruct their whole "for the good of Mata Nui" attitude, one problem though I'm not sure what I will be able to write for fear it may cross some of BZP's rules for epics. It's still in the planning process so I might need to think a little more. Any thoughts?

It depends on what you're planning specifically. I've written some pretty dark, mature things in the past and have never gotten in trouble with the staff. So have other authors.

What do you plan on including, exactly? A lot of violence? Allegories to particular religious or political themes/people? Or something else that could possibly break the rules or at least cause some trouble?

Specifically speaking I want to ask how long these order members (trained to engage morally questionable actions) can do things that are considered morally wrong before they break. One scene I want to use involves them burning a village with people still living in the village. I want to show the results of some things they do to get by which will most likely include corpses and some suffering. As political I'm making an analogy to some actions the CIA has done that don't hurt anyone but later it does hurt someone.
