Look, the point wasn't to flame you. The fact is that it didn't sit well with us that a disabled person's well being was being likened to reviving a toy line. Which, if you think about it, is actually saying words about that person, namely that they are worth much more.

My problem was that the topic was about a disabled person, and people instantly changed the topic away from the disabled person. I found that to be disrespectful, more to him than to me.

However' date=' I was stupid enough to say "almost as much", [b']and got flamed[/b] about it.

Well it certainly felt like flaming.

I'm not sure how it's flaming to tell somebody that they're doing something that's kinda wrong. Like, y'know, putting toys before a human being.

 

But I digress.

My main problem was that everyone was more interested in talking about priorities than about disabled people. That's what annoyed me the most.

It's not that they were trying to be disrespectful to either of you, but they (me aswell) saw your bionicle remark to be extremely disrespectful towards a guy you supposedly wanted to help and felt the need to point that out. Bionicle shouldn't even factor into your thoughts as anywhere near as important when a human being with troubles is involved.

 

Also not trying to attack you at all, just trying to make clear what everyone else is trying to say.
