This guy is amazing. I love his composing especially since he uses piano.

Giving a shout out to him for the music he did in:

The Incredibles, Up, Ratatouille, LOST, Super 8, Star Trek. (And a ton more)

<3 No Place Like Home (LOST), Letting Go (Super 8), and Married Life (Up) just to name a few.

I loved the music on the Incredibles. It always was amazing to me because it really stood out than in other movies. Also, I loved the music in Ratatouille, too. ^^

'Married Life' has to be one of the top tracks from a Pixar score. On part with or better than the music from Finding Nemo and WALL-E.

Definitely looking forward to his future work.

:kaukau:I like the music from Pixar, obviously, because Pixar and other Disney movies are pretty well known for their music.

What really stood out to me was his music for Star Trek, which hit me as memorable at an instant. Movies with soundtracks don't come out too often. In fac, it's good enough that I have it on my iPod, and am listening to it right now. It's very, very beautiful and fun music in and of itself, but also captures the feels of the scenes they were in perfectly. Plus, I love the use of the various instruments that makes it sound truly full, along with the amount of choral music thrown in to make it all the more breathtaking. It helped turn Star Trek into a rather grand space opera of sorts, which is a rare pleasure.

Married Life was beautiful and Cloverfield's music was just epic. Have not seen Fringe though.

I saw Star Trek years ago, but unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of soaking in the music. I'll have to give that another shot. Thanks EK
