Well, I got through the prolouge yesterday. And now I'm working on taking out the merchant...

who my god his takeover attack does so much damage, I lost the first time going in.

TIME TO GRIND TO LEVEL 20 INSTEAD OF 14!

You can just adjust the difficulty! The game is very playable without grinding, I've found, so long as your encounter rate is at least at Normal.

 

I really love the Merchant class, it's very unique and the user looks all rich and fancy :D

Mine's normal difficulty and encounter rate (Though I do increase it when grinding), it's just that one attack utterly wrecked me.
