Looking at more pictures of the sets, I can say they look pretty nice. However, I just have a few complaints...mainly the fact there's exposed balljoints on every single Toa set aaaaaa

The exposed balljoints make their bodies seem kinda...hollow? too thick? I don't know, but without armor where the normal HF arms would go, it looks kinda ugly. I had the same problem with Evo's mech this year (Evo XL, that is), but I had spare yellow armor to fix it from the original Evo set.

And the colors on Kopaka/Onua(Or Onya as his name is now forever spelpt), and Pohatu looks horrendous. They should have replaced it with a different color, maybe the gold on Onua to purple, and on Kopaka it should be ice blue possibly? I dunno. Gold looks decent on Tahu only because red and gold do go together well when they're the main two colors.

pohatu needs trans yellow not trans green limbs.

And that's my more...collected thoughts on 2015.

No, no they aren't. I've seen him in-person, and my brother owns the exact pieces in question. They're definitely Trans. Fluorescent Green. I don't think it looks that bad myself, but there's no Trans. Yellow to be found and I don't know why you're insisting otherwise.

apologies. In all the pics I saw they looked 100% trans yellow... why would they make them green?

I dunno, maybe to make his color scheme look less like something you'd find in a toilet (which is a criticism I heard quite a few times when people on other sites were still mulling over prelims).

 

I actually like the look, which surprised me a great deal. It feels like some kind of mineral veins you'd find embedded in a rock, and adds a lot of energy to his build. Plus, fluorescent colors are awesome. Tr. Yellow would be a lot closer to his classic Brick Yellow (Tan), but for some reason the Tr. Fluore. Green just... works.
