Holy Frick

Harmonix (the creators of Rock Band) have long had a system called the Rock Band Network where bands could chart their own songs and submit them for inclusion in the Network. Players could then grab the tracks and play them locally, supporting the musicians in the process.

I'm happy to report that "Discord (The Living Tombstone Remix)" by Eurobeat Brony has made it onto said network! This marks the first time that a pony song remix has made it onto a major game and it's pretty freakin' sweet. If I could still play Rock Band to save my life, I'd pick this up. You should do it for me.

This is absolutely amazing. I need Rock Band now, just for this.

Seriously, the power of bronies...

RBN only works for Xbox and PS3 versions and you have to wait thirty days after the song's release date on Xbox if you use the PS3 version... Wii isn't supported at all.

Just a heads up to you bronies.

Now if only we could get actual songs from the show onto Rock Band. I want to rock out to the Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song.

You know, There's a whole project devoted to making custom Rock Band charts for MLPFIM fan songs, it's called the Lyoko Pony Rock Project. They've got some really great charts, maybe a couple dozen in all. They don't do official songs, though, only stuff that they can get the stems for.

And @TN05, RBN is supported on the Wii, just not very much. I should know, I'm unfortunate enough to have to stick to the Wii version for now.

E: Go ahead and add me to that list over there on your sidebar.
