Progress Update (with pictures)

Posted by BULiK , in Progress Updates Oct 14 2012 · 65 views

So, since last weekend I've been working on another one of CrunchBiteNuva's paper masks, the higher Quality Kakama. It's not completely finished being built (All that's left is the inner lining on the side slits and some more detail on the mouth), but it's extremely close. I'm surprised that I got it this far in around 4 days. During the coming week while I'm at my parent's house, My grandpa will (Hopefully) have time to finish paper mache-ing the Pakari, and maybe start of the Kualsi.

Here's some recent pictures of the kakama:

:kaukau: Holy...That picture is quite large. The mask seems to be a bit elongated, by the way, like it belongs on a Metru head. Either way, it's cool that you went through with this and that some people still find active ways of being a Bionicle nerd even these few years after the line has been disbanded, and you get extra props for having your grandpa's help!

Now post, people, to relieve Bulik of his boredom!

Yes, it is somewhat wider in proportion to the actual mask, now that I think about it.
Yeah. I find it a creative way to celebrate the successful decade of bionicle and also more entertaining and hands-on than being hunched over a keyboard pressing F5, waiting for someone to reply in the BZPRPG  . Another thing about this is if I ever muster enough willpower to go to an event like Brickfair, I'll be instantly recognizable (Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing XD )
