As a bystander with no reasons to give, I say Dragonfly is better.

Would changing your sprites really be necessary, though? I don't see why a name change would force you to change your sprites.

Dragonfly sounds pretty. Go with that.

 

I won't worry about changing your name being an inconvenience to others. I've been using Wolven for a while now, but most of my friends still call me Cholie or Chols.

I only wanted to change my sprite because I like custom characters. If I changed it at all, maybe I could just recolor it a tiny bit. I'm still iffy about changing my sprite, though.

Then maybe you should post three different versions of what you'd like your sprite to look like and let us cool dudes help you make a decision.

I'm totally flexible. Dragonfly sounds cool, and OC characters are always better than characters based off of other characters. (I would change myself from my Lewa persona, but I just can't shake it.) I would like to see some sprite ideas like Bio said. So we can see which is the most Dragonflyey.

Whatever works for you, I'm fine with. Who knows? If you change your sprite, I might incorporate it into Doomsday in a special way.

I agree with Bio, letting us decide on the sprite (unless you want to just make it without a vote) is fine by me.

Okay, comic authors, I shall change my name. Since you guys are so nice, I shall try to make some sprites, and I might try to combine my current sprite with a new sprite. I can't get rid of the Ignika.

 

By the way, does anybody know where I can get a Chimoru Sigma sprite sheet? I looked in the forums, but I couldn't find one.

 

EDIT: I thought we had a 45-day wait limit to change our name. It just told me I couldn't change my name, but the last time it was changed was Oct 17th.

I believe the 45-day limit did not transfer as part of the temporary Premier Perks.

So non-premiers still have a 90-day limit.

Personally, I think that's slightly more feminine than "Toa Mata Nubie," and I think a change in sprite wouldn't hurt either. Your colors are fine, unless you want to orient them with your ponidentity. The mask is the biggest thing, really. I'm not trying to stereotype and suggest you wear a KauKau, I just think it's fairly masculine.

You must have seen that I use "Draginfli" for my username in majhost. I use that name in many other places, and I'd be really surprised if your suggestion's spelling was just a coincidence.

 

The colors are one of my favorite color schemes, and my "ponidentity" is my real self ponified. I thought about making the colors the same (with the red/orange hair being the colors of the mask), but I like blue better, and a mint blue/white body with a red/orange mask would look doofy

 

I don't really like most of the masks that Toa or Matoran of water use, and I appreciate your comment on that, but I really like the Ignika. The "horns" remind me of insect antennas, too . Not to mention it still keeps some of my "TMN self" in my new sprite. Maybe I could try to do something to make the eyes a bit more feminine ... I might change their color to a darker green, since it is a bit difficult to see against the miny-colored mask.
