It's okay, the nukes will get us before my generation has a chance of dying from that stuff

I'm probably going to end up being one of them. Sucks.

Every time I see/read this statistic, the percentage is different. I think the highest I've seen it as is 50%.

 

Regardless, whatever the number, it's still too many.

Well, hopefully we'll start seeing some cures so that few that get cancer will die from it.

I find it sad, having family members who have died of cancer, but then I consider that it is also a more peaceful way to go than other causes of death. At least it's something you see coming. The random person walking down the street, not knowing that some accident will come out of nowhere and cancel out their existence, that's what I find sad. Their last thoughts weren't directed toward anything; they were just mediocre. I want to see death coming.
