Frozen is coming

I haven't abandoned my Rapunzel's Tower remake. Quite the contrary: while ordering pick a bricks for the base of the tower, I was browsing through sets and I realized something. Cinderella's carriage set could make a wonderful palace set for Elsa. Not only that, but Cinderella, with a bit of work, could be made to look like Elsa. I don't have the set in yet, but I have been toying around with some pieces I do have and I figured out Elsa's train! Wahoo!

I also have an Anna prototype done. Her color scheme so far is darker than what was in the movie, but I kinda like it better. Actually she might be as good as she's going to get since Friends torsos are limited compared to regular figs.

Anyway, I'm hoping to turn the carriage into either a mini version of the palace or just a small room. It won't be as extravagant as Rapunzel's tower.

GET OFF MY LAWN!

I was thinking about putting together my own Elsa figure using the body and legs of the Hollywood Starlett for her ice dress, with Vitruvias' cape as her train. But since I don't actually own Vitruvias and had no idea what head or hairpiece to use I just abandoned the idea. The back of that one looks good, though. Is that Rapunzel's hair? With an invisibility cloak train?

Looking forward to seeing all of this. Especially Rapunzel's tower (of course).

Haha, I shall post what pieces I use. I don't have much plans for the castle as of yet, though.

As for the cape I used, it's actually the veil from the bride and groom place set. I slightly sewed it, but it should also be possible to fold it back into a triangle. I wanted it to go over her arms, but, uh... that didn't happen. XP

The hairpiece is Rapunzel's from her creativity tower. It is literally the only hairpiece in existence that comes close.

Edit: Also I'm sticking with Friends figures because they fit with the style of the movie.

I didn't realize Rapunzel's hairpiece was so blonde- I thought it was more yellow. The veil as the train looks good, too. How did you connect it, though? From wedding set pictures it looks like the only connection point is a small hole for a crown pin.

this is awesome... I'm still hoping they'll make official Frozen sets, though, with a disney license and all.

They will almost assuredly produce at least one Frozen set, given the sales potential. It'll probably be in the Disney Princess line, though, which means it may not be all that accurate.
