Once upon a time, there was a Pokémon named Mudbray.  “Look at this silly donkey Pokémon,” everyone said.  “How could it ever amount to anything?”

 

But since Mudbray had the Stamina ability, all their insults raised its Defense one stage, making it impossible to defeat.

 

Mudbray then evolved into Mudsdale and gained true immortality.  Any who insulted it were obliterated by Earthquakes and Mudsdale lived happily ever after.

 

Literally “ever after”.  Because it is scientifically impossible for a Mudsdale to die.
