An astrophysicist.

An artist. Then a vet. Now that I am grown up, I don't know what I want to be.

I really wanted to be an archaeologist, until I was about seven years old, at which point I decided I wanted to paint stuff. Never followed through on either, though.

also a marine biologist. still do.

I wanted to be a fireman because I loved Dalmatians and wanted to work with one.

Doctor. I'll let you know in four years if it works out.

A paleontologist.

 

But science classes are hard.

I also wanted to be a welder, and whaddya know... Almost there.

I wanted to be in the Olympics.  My mother actually had an opportunity to set me up with an Olympic swimming coach that trained a relative of hers, but my father shot it down because he thought that "he could train me better."  He had a real case of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

 

I probably wouldn't have made it to the Olympics anyway, but it's things like this that will always have me wondering "what if?"

 

Also, I wanted to be a mad scientist and a writer.  That mad scientist thing never quite worked out.  So far, the writing thing hasn't either, but that's the one goal that I have that's the most subject to being realized.
