2 Annoying Builds

Mr. Cup of Fail

Okay, are me and some of my friends are the only one that find people using the Nuva Should as chest armor for female MOCs and Rahkshi Heads vary vary annoying.

I mean I have used Nuva Should as chest armor of used Rahkshi heads on 2 of my MOCs before (one of them is my SelfMOC Manix) but I have stop using them because it's over used. with the Nuva Shoulder armor, most people are not even using the Nuva Shoulder as chest armor right and makes there chest stick out too far (look up a guy name ZwardAx and you'll see what I mean). I have made rants of those thing on my dA.

So do anyone find these builds annoying or is it just me and my friends.

Believe me, you are not the only ones who consider that, at best, to be annoying.

That opinion stems back to 2002, when the Nuva first came out.

It was a bad idea when Lego did it, it will never be a good design.

The very first thing MOCers did with the Nuva pieces (aside form build the Toa Nuva) was slap them on chests and call them pecs/breasts.

The results were as terrible as what you are imagining.

I feel like the badness of Nuva shoulders as chest armor is often overstated. It's not that it can't be done well, but rather that it almost never is. I feel like Axonn's stout dwarfish build benefitted from it, and I'm sure in all the time I've been a Bionicle fan I've probably seen one or two MOCs that used it well for "breasts" (though I'm in no mood to try and seek them out now). The problem is that just slapping them on a MOC and calling them boobs is as sloppy as it is lazy, especially on a mid-sized MOC where they inevitably end up ludicrously disproportionate.
