Ever fighting the uphill battle of archiving BS01 History, I have decided that it would be worthwhile to create a file on the BIONICLESector01 Counter Vandalism Unit. A predecessor to the mysterious APO (unexplained, unchronicled, and probably also inactive), the CVU was founded in 2006 in response to a large scale vandal attack on the Wiki. The Unit--founded by Bionus, Utopia, and Bioran--was comprised of both Staff and regular members, and was responsible for the prevention of vandalism and for making sure that the Wiki staff was alerted to what was happening. It can be assumed that the CVU may have played a roll in cleaning up after vandalism, at least until the BS01 Vandal Cleanup user account was created.

But, of course, I need information before I can begin to build the file. I have some Wayback Archives that will give me a lot of stuff. Who founded it, who was in it, the rules, spelled-out actions, a very brief and insufficient history... but I could use a few more things. If you would like to help out, what I'm currently looking for are these:

*Better idea of the founding date, even if approximate (April 4th, 2006? Earliest date available.)

*Information on old WikiCon. Use of "userbox" style instead of images?

*Where there any notable instances where the Unit stepped in to protect the Wiki?

*What was its legacy? Why was it disbanded? Disbanded in favor of APO around April 7th, 2008?

*Information on replacement (APO?)

One exciting thing: since this was founded in 2006 (apparently), or even if it was founded earlier, it will be at the top of the list of files!
