Pardon that, just a little something in my throat.

 

I have my first (and currently only) interview for medical school next Friday in Fort Worth at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. I noticed some posts around about people getting ready for college, people submitting apps, applying for scholarships--seems to be that time of the year--and I also noted how many BZPers seem to be getting in, working through, or getting our of college. The fanbase has really grown up, hasn't it? Well guys, I'm right there with you in the applications stuff, just on a scarier level XD

 

I'll be heading up there next Thursday so I'll be able to wake up for a 0700 check-in time, all suited up and ready for...

 

INTERVIEW A at 7:30 A.M.

 

Hospital Tour at 9:00 A.M.

 

Orientation & Lunch (meet in MET 109-111 ) at 10:45 A.M.

 

Campus Tour w/ Student Ambassadors at 12:00 P.M.

 

INTERVIEW B at 1:15 P.M.

 

INTERVIEW C at 2:45 P.M.

My first interview is at 0730? O_O Please refer to the collections of A's above as to my feelings about that. On top of that, I have 3 interviews that day while most have 2. The third one is because I've applied for the Rural Osteopathic Medicine Education (ROME) Program. I'm hoping to be able to go into practice in a small town, so ROME is gonna be a great thing to go through, but MAN. That one extra interview could make a huge difference on the whole day. Much pressure.

 

Well, I'm posting about it now because I've front loaded next week in order to make time for the interview while not missing school, and I've got homework that must be done in order to prepare for the storm coming next Monday. Please keep me in your thoughts/prayers as I move forward, TCOM is the school I want to go to, and I'm both looking forward to and dreading this interview process.
