(i can finally post this now that my premier membership has been fixed...thanks b6 ;-p)

 

so, I went to Acen in Rosemont last weekend, as per tradition. It was a lot of fun and I'd be more wordy but I'm feeling a bit down so instead I'll just share my cosplay pics and what I bought in the vendor hall. I cosplayed Rui Ninomiya from Gatchaman Crowds.

 

Any Acen-goers on BZPower?? We should hang out next year!!! (alternatively, Anime Midwest is coming up......:3)

 

And yes, I commissioned a Pohatu/Kopaka picture from artist alley. I didn't want to sound like a COMPLETE nerd so I didn't request something shippy......I got something funny instead.

I watched Gatchaman Crowds like last week and really liked it. I was skimming this post before reading what you said at the beginning and was like "wait is this Rui" and then "oh man it's Rui." It's really good cosplay!

 

Also hey it's a Dave ALPHA MALE. And. Pohatu is a nipple, alright.

thanks! im really getting back into sewing lately. this is my first really good handmade costume i think.

 

have you heard about insight? gcrowds season 2, its coming out like... next month?
