Commissions!

I've been promising this for a long time, but I think it's probably best to just jump right in and see how it goes for now. I'm kind of new to this, but I'm trying to choose prices that seem reasonable. Examples of each are linked.

Sketch - $5 per character (I'll clean it up)

Colored Sketch - $10 per character

Art Markers

Digital

Digital Shaded - $15 per character

Digital Shaded+ - $20 per character

Vector Icons - $7-10 depending on complexity

Will also do character art

As of right now, I am NOT taking 3D commissions. As much as I'd love to, they take up a lot of my time and I'm still trying to wrap up a few. Maybe sometime in the future.

Commission Rules

  1. I'm primarily a Lego/Bionicle artist, and so that's mostly what I expect here. However, if you want me to try something new, I'm open to it. Sci Fi, Fantasy, Design,Illustration, Logos, Gaming, whatever. However, I will not be doing anything with nudity, sexual themes, vulgarity, etc.
  2. Send me a DA Note, a Tumblr Ask, BZPower PM, or FlickrMail with everything I'll need to know about your commission. Reference images, descriptions, colors, medium, posing, etc. The more you write, the better I can represent what you have in mind.
  3. Keep in mind that I have other things to do in my life, and as much as I would love to draw all day, these commissions can take time. Sorry. If I start feeling swamped, I'll close commissions down again.
  4. I reserve the right to adjust pricing based on the amount of time required. Basically, if you want me to draw a full mural with lots of intricate details for $5, we need to talk.
  5. After the commission is complete, I'll provide payment information. Paypal is preferred.

The vector icon link doesn't show anything?

Also quick question: for the Digital Shaded+, if one were to perhaps ask for a scene of two characters done in that sort of advanced detailing but then perhaps want the scenery around them done in a lesser style (let's say art markers), would the cost then be $50, or would a "customized" price be arranged?

(It's super cool that you're doing this BTW)

Huh. The links are working for me...

I guess the pricing on that really just depends on the level of detail. If the characters and/or background are extremely complicated (like Bayformers level), it might end up around there, but for just a simple background and reasonable characters, the pricing could be adjusted.

I might be interested in taking advantage of this. There's been a character I've wanted to have drawn for awhile.

How do you do with sketching out people? If it helps there would be lots of armor.

Prices seem reasonable to me.

My people are... okay, I suppose. Armor would help. I'd be willing to give it a try if you are.

This... Seems like a long-term project. And you previously said you were leaving.

How long do you plan to stay?

From how things are looking right now, odds are I'll be here for a month or two. Plenty of time to get a few commissions done if anyone asks for them.

I'll be honest, you're kind of underselling your work, which is sad to see. :( I know pricing commissions online is hard but I hope you try charging by time investment.

That's what I tried to do, but I didn't think anyone would consider buying a commission over $10. It's hard enough to find people who would do a $5 commission...
