Hip Action Figures of the Day - Pit and AVENGERS!

So Tilius has already previously shown us the awesomeness that shall be Figma Link. (Which reminds me - I still need to track one down... will probably do so after its release.)

But now we have a prototype picture of the next Nintendo Figma...

Pit from Kid Icarus!

With Samus now out and many good things being said about her, I think it's a safe bet that Pit's going to be a very welcomed addition to the line. Really has me wondering who else is in the works. ;)

Oh, but that doesn't have you excited enough? Worry now... Max Factory (makers of Figma figures) have something awesome in store for us...

THE AVENGERS AND SPIDER-MAN!!

(Ignore super deformed figures below the poster, those are another line.)

Yeah yeah, there have been highly articulated action figures of these main Marvel guys plenty of times before from Hasbro. But what's produced today by them is still pretty bad - in my opinion - given they make no attempt to hide some of the joints. These will likely be highly accurate as well as articulate. Heck, just look at Link linked above (...lol) to see what I'm talking about. No obnoxiously ugly giant balls or cuts everywhere.

I dunno, maybe I'm too picky. But I still think it's something to look forward to hearing more of.

Pit looks awesome. I can't wait to see the finished product.

By the way, are you planning on getting Kid Icarus at some point? I personally recommended you do considering you have a 3DS now.

Kid Icarus is awful, don't go near that game. Oh, you get used to the controls! You shouldn't have to. And when you do you can manage about 10 minutes before your hand starts hurting. OH USE THE STAND. But it's a portable console, you're not meant to.

Aaaaaanyway. Those Avengers figures will be expensive though, right? I've been wanting some accurate but small-scale Avengers figures for a while.

Yeah, probably the same price as Link... Plus high shipping being from Japan and all... I've slowly gotten used to that so forget it when talking about figures like these.

I'm alright with that sort of price if the figure is a character I really like and it's a super-accurate version of a character. So the Link figma will eventually be a buy for me, as well as an Iron Man at least. I'll see about the others. I dislike 12" figures - they're too Action Man-like - so most of Hot Toys' super accurate Avengers are no-gos for me. But a similar level of detail on a smaller scale? I'd be up for that.

I must be some kind of magician or something because I have play Kid Icarus: Uprising for six hours once in a day without any ill effects like that. Not only that, but I have never even use the 3DS stand once. I also have over 30 hours logged under this game, according to my Activity Log on the 3DS.

So yeah, I would say it worth the purchase, if you asked me. *shrugs*
