This is one heavy Tamashii month!

We've already seen Gaim and Baron here. Plus first run bonuses! I really, really need to get myself a Zangetsu now since I missed the preorders and I already secured a Ryugen... just to have them all on that sweet stage (the symbols represent those four characters). But I really can't stress enough how pretty they are.

 

Lucario's cool and is pretty much exactly what I expected. As in, he can't stand all that well but you can do whatever you want with a stand involved. And Mario... I got both diorama sets too, being represented here by the Goombas. Not sure I can really recommend them, but I haven't done much yet. Mario himself is totally worth it though. A slightly better range of movement in his neck would have made him flawless.

 

Aaaand oh yeah.... An apartment, car, cable, Internet, insurance, and a job! :lol: It has been one super crazy month. I'm maybe a quarter of the way through putting things back on shelves here (can't believe I moved my entire collection still...), but it's getting there. Pretty much do need a new shelf to get things how I really want them though.

Yeah, preeeetty much. I actually haven't gotten the Nintendo Figmas out of their packaging as I'm still figuring out where to display them, so I don't know how close they are yet from an in-person experience. :( Pictures I've seen put them in a reasonable scale, though.

 

Just important to know that it's SUPER Mario, not Smash Mario (as most ignorant critics seem to have been expecting for silly reasons). He moves as well as Mario should be expected to and has the proportions he should be expected to have from his games, not like the Smash incarnation.

 

Lucario might have edged Mewtwo out as my favorite Pokémon release, mostly just because mine doesn't suffer from the QC issues my Mewtwo does (messed up bicep swivel, stupidly loose tail joints that always pop off).
