Pokemon Omega Ruby: Day 13

One ball.

One turn.

One attempt.

And a Jolly Rayquaza is mine!! :D

But before I got to that wonderful event... First, that rematch against Wallace was totally him as Champion (as implied in one of the scenes at the end of Episode Delta as well). And that was cool. After that, though... what did they do to Sky Pillar?! Where was the challenge? Where were the bike puzzles? Where was anything interesting about climbing it? This redesign was horrendous.

After catching the glorious Rayquaza before he could even Mega Evolve once, I proceeded to crush Zinnia (who I've somewhat regretted calling a creep after the realization of what her tragic past is implied to be) and OHKO Deoxys. I wish I had paid more attention during all of the cutscenes during and after this, since I expected to be trying it again for a different Rayquaza. Oops...

I've since resumed my Mega Stone hunt. Hello Sharpedonite! <3 Still haven't attempted going through any of Hoopa's portals to get extra Legendaries. Not sure when I will. I'm also trying to grind to get prepared for the Elite Four rematch (I was horribly underleveled), but there are seriously no good grinding spots. Y had no wild spots, but at least there were the restaurants and chateau. Nothing here but the Elite Four. Which I'm not ready for. (And want to use my in-game team for, otherwise I do indeed have dozens and dozens of level 100 'Mons I could withdraw lol.) So It's going to take some time.

So following the post-game and a bit of grinding, here's where we're ending:

Hashirama, Sceptile Lv. 68

Glalie, Lv. 68

Sigurd, Flygon Lv. 66

Abyss, Sharpedo Lv. 66

Altair, Swellow Lv. 64

Latios, Lv. 64

This may sound cheap, but what I did for leveling up was getting Blissey secret base codes. Level 100 Blisseys (hit the level release in the base first), and they all know healing wish as their only move. Most bases are triple battles so players can get the most experience from one go. This does mean healing wish doesn't work, so be sure to bring something with a physical moveset.

(My Delcatty's secret power with a metronome proved useful. It just takes some time).

It depends on how you want to go about doing it, though.

On a side note, I used Delcatty with echoed voice and a metronome for my strategy in-game, and there is no greater joy in the game than building it up and sweeping with her.

It'll take another day to be able to battle them, but I did just go and get a set of 6 in the Secret Meadow. Didn't know about the level release feature, though. That will help. Thanks. :)
