New Poll Update
A few questions were raised by TN05 concerning the validity of using this poll as a reference for how much BZPower really likes HF. My reply contains a few of the more specific goals of the poll, as well as a few of the newer stats.
I have a few problems with the assumption that, based on the poll, the majority loves Hero Factory:
For one, this assumes interests are mutually exclusive - similar to arguing over whether Coke or Pepsi is better. One can like both Coke and Pepsi, just like one can like both HF and BIONICLE, so a more fair and valid poll in my mind would be 'Do you like Hero Factory better than BIONICLE' or 'Would you have rather LEGO released HF alongside BIONICLE' - it would show more, I think.
Also, another interesting statistic is that a plurality (46.67) of voters prefer Slizers to Hero Factory in a similar poll.
Aside from those, I personally take the polls to mean most people are OK with Hero Factory, but would rather have either Slizers or BIONICLE instead - and considering this is a site targeted at young kids (13 and under), this does not surprise me.

That's why in the poll I asked people to answer based on their opinion of Hero Factory without regard to BIONICLE. I want to know what they think of HF simply as HF, not as BIONICLE's successor. They already did a HF-BIONICLE poll.
I'm not asking about Slizers, I'm asking about HF. Obviously, there will be some who will judge based on how HF compares to BIONICLE, simply because they don't like to read the starter post, but usually, that's only the dislikers, I've found.
Uh, yeah. That's what it means. I don't know why you thought it was supposed to mean that everyone loves it. Only the percentage that said "I'm a big fan" are counted for that.
Strangely enough, though, at this point, there are only ten fewer self-proclaimed "big fans" than the entire number who said they disliked it at all. (61 total dislikers, 51 "big fans")
There are also a total of 186 people who said they were on the "likers" side of the spectrum.
So, out of the 301 members who voted, that's a pretty strong majority of likers, and they are almost in danger of being outnumbered by the "big fans" alone.
In addition, 42 said they didn't care, and 12 nulled. You do the math to figure out percentages--I'm a little busy. I will tell you that 62% are on the Liker's side of the spectrum, while only 20% are on the dislike side.
