Favorite Superheroes Part Two
6) THE HULK -- Probably the last of the popular comic book monsters, the Hulk is cool for two reasons. Firstly, it's an amped-up version of Jekyl and Hyde. Secondly, he's probably the only character in comics besides the Green Lanterns whose only limit is himself, 'cause the angrier HULK gets, the stronger HULK gets.
7) Green Lantern Corps -- The Green Lanterns are interesting primarily because of how much more important they have become recently, and how much more is being added. Blackest Night, Brightest Day, Red Lanterns, Agent Orange, Sinestro Corps, Blue Lanterns, Star Sapphires, and more about the Indigo Tribe has been revealed recently, turning the Green Lanterns into more than just space-cops.
8) The Bat-Family -- This might be cheating, but I just did the GL Corps, right? While Nightwing, Oracle/Batgirl, and what is now Batman, Inc. is one of my favorite new additions to DC Comics. Now, granted, the Batman Inc. thing is just a concept at this point, really, but Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Robin have gained great merit on thier own. Of this group, however, Red Robin is my favorite. Nobody else in the Bat-Family is quite so much like Batman, and, in my opinion, more qualified to be the heir to the cowl. (Shaddap, Batman Grayson people.)
9) Iron Man -- Iron Man is cool only becuase of the suit of armor. I dislike Tony Stark. He's annoying. Sometimes funny, but for the most part, annoying. But a modernized knight in shining armor is still an awesome concept.
10) The Flash (Wally West) -- While initially, a super-speedy dude seems a little dull, the Flash works great in conjunction with other heroes, as shown in the Justice League cartoon. As far as personality, he's the closest thing DC Comics has to Spider-Man, and like I mentioned earlier, Spidey is my all-time favorite Marvel hero.
My runners up will be next. Most of them being characters that I simply haven't gone very deep into, and thus don't know much about.
