Before the upgrade downtime, I started an Expanded Multiverse epic that I never finished, due to not knowing where to take it next. I'm thinking about starting it back up again, but if I do, I want to be sure I can both do a good job and actually finish the silly thing. Yet my schedule is limited and I'm going to be leaving BZPower when school starts next year.
My main reason for considering it is that a couple nights ago I thought of a terrific ending, but it would only work if I was able to make a compelling peak earlier in the story, and do some other character development that, in case I do continue, I would rather not divulge right now. Another problem is that I have a character and side storyline I really don't need, and I think it might work better without it, but I hate to cut out an entire character simply because my story changed paths from when I started it. And if I did so, I would also have to change the title. And then there's that whole problem finishing what I start.
I think writing fiction is far harder for me than non-fiction. My sister has more talent in fiction.
