Pennant Chase Coverage On M L B Network

I'm watching Phillies @ Braves on MLBN. With a win, the Braves clinch a tie in the Wild Card. Those that get it locally can see Yankees @ Red Sox. Afterwards comes more Pennant Chase Coverage of the Padres @ Giants, and for those who get the local feeds for that game, D-Backs @ Dodgers (Which really isn't Pennant Chase Coverage, since both teams are eliminated).

Anyhow, main thing is, if you have MLB Network. GO THERE!

Personally, I prefer the Comcast Sportsnet Channels. I dunno', the commentators from the Bay Area subchannel are pretty cool. Though, haven't watched MLB network before, so I can't say much about it.

They actually use the local broadcasts for all the games they show outside of the main Thursday Night Baseball and certain other games that they show, like the game between the Yankees and Rays at Tropicana Field earlier this month.

They'll probably be using the CSN Bay Area feed for tonight's game. And typically, anytime the commentators are biased towards your local team, it's always more fun to listen to them. :P

Until my Mom took the remote, I was also watching the Cubs game on CSN Chicago.

I'm going for the Pads, just so ya' know. I wanna see a Padres sweep, and then a tie between the Padres, Giants, and Braves, forcing TWO tiebreakers.

Marvelousness would be upon us. :D

As long as the Giants make it, I'd be fine. :P

Uh, I don't think so. I'm predicting a Rays-Phillies rematch this year. Plus, contrary to the popular opinion of most Giants fans, the Phillies statistically have the best 1-2-3 combination of pitchers in their rotation. They've got the man who will probably be the first man outside of Tim Lincecum to win the NL Cy Young since 2007, and Roy Oswalt has been on fire since he went to the Phils. As for Hamels, he's back to the form that won him the World Series and NLCS MVP awards in 2008. Zito hasn't been doing so hot, meanwhile, while Lincecum has struggled more often than usual this year, making Cain their most dependable, but he won't be able to hold back the Phillies' lineup longer than Halladay, Oswalt, or Hamels will hold back the weak Giants offense.
