Yanks, Rangers On Verge Of Sweeps, Giants Freak Out Braves

I was hoping for all five game series, but this year is looking to be full of sweeps. Pettitte held up, while Pavano couldn't hold back New York, and so the Twins will have to win all three of the next few games--including two in enemy territory at Yankee Stadium.
Likewise, the Rays are headed to Arlington, Texas, where they must also win three in a row to advance, and unlike the Twins, they have to face the third of Texas' top three pitchers in Colby Lewis--not the more questionable Yankees' pitching staff. Even so, if both teams do manage to win two on the road, they would still have to face the opposing teams' aces in C.C. and Cliff Lee. It's looking bleak, in other words.
Meanwhile, game 1 of the NLDS went to the Giants, as Tim Lincecum shut down the Braves. The Freak may not be one of the Cy Young contenders this year, but he's still one of the best in the NL, behind Philly's Halladay, St. Lou's Wainwright, and Colorado's Jimenez.
Today, the second games of both National League Division Series will be played. In Philly, Bronson Arroyo will try to help his team avoid being in the situation the Twins and Rays are facing, but it will be a hard task as the 'O' in the H2O phormula of the Phillies' pitching staff, Roy Oswalt.
In San Francisco, Tommy Hanson will try to help his team split the two games in AT&T Park, but he's got to face Matt Cain of the Giants.
It may be a little late for predictions, but I'll tell you mine anyway. Yanks sweep, Phils sweep. Garza wins game 3 but Rangers win game 4 to advance, Giants win in 5, with game 5 won by the Freak.
