Tonight the New York Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers and won the NFC Championship. They'll move on in two weeks to face the New England Patriots in Superbowl XLII. It was a very close game score-wise and a real nail-biter in the end. But if you watched, the Giants played the better game (in my opinion). Our defense played extremely well and won the game for us (especially considering Webster's interception in overtime to get us the ball back). Our offense had a decent night, with a few miscues. Dropped passes hurt us in the beginning, thanks to a cold ball, and had Tynes not missed the two earlier field goals it would have been a different game. There were also a couple penalties, one that called back a touchdown. But still, we won, and didn't turn the ball over, so I'll take what I can get.
Next week the Gmen face the Pats again, hopefully with better results than last time.
