So, here I sit in my dorm room with 2 pretty awesome room mates (with a 3rd coming sometime this week.) I moved in today, though I started working helpdesk on Monday (yeah I live 30 or so minutes, away from Campus.) The Opening service of Northland International University was an hour or so ago.

77 Days. 77 days since my last blog post. I lurked of course, and I've kept up with things, but haven't posted in 77 days...
Now there may be a few causes for this:
a.) It's summer. I'm free from school and thus, sneaking on the internet and posting a blog post is no longer an excuse to get out of doing home work.
b.) I've finally gotten my driver's license. Yeah. That's been fun.
c.) Oh, and I got a Cell phone.
d.) I've been working like crazy. It's been quite good.

So it appears we're back. Yeah I know, It's been back for a while, I've just been too busy to post.
Since last you heard from me I've picked up two $80-some sets for $30 each. One was the Temple of the Crystal Skull set (that I hope to sell!) and the other, well, that was the Axalara. Yeah I finally got my hands on it. It's huge. (that, I am keeping.)

No, no, it's nothing incredibly serious... he just had his appendix taken out. (Yes, an appendectomy for you people who plan on going to Med. School =P ). This is my 100th Blog post. Sure, not as much as many of you, but still more than quite a few other Bloggers. No doubt that in any case this is a milestone.
Through out my time Blogging I've done things that typical LEGO blogs do--highlighting MOCs, ranting and raving about new sets (Usually just ranting...). I've done a few Set reviews; I've also posted a few MOCs of my own. Just your basic things like that.

Heh, I probably should have announced it earlier, but I figured I'd save it for this Memo. I've been chosen to help Co-Host a Bionicle Related Podcast. I really can't put into words my excitement. I can tell you the story though...
About a week ago I stumbled across Bohrok Awakener's Blog. That is where he's been advertising his idea of a Bionicle Podcast. I read through all his stuff and realized he was looking for another Co-Host to round things out. We already had two, Krahka!!! and Kanohi
Earlier today I had a bunch of parts out... and I realized that I could build the two Toa Kaita. Yes, I have the 6 original Toa up in my shelves... but this means I have duplicates of every single Toa Mata... something I guess I haden't realized before. (Technically I have 3 Pohatu sets).
Anyway, I suppose I should post a list of sets I have just for something to point back to in reference. I think I'll update it every now and then as I get more sets...

Heh, so I was surfin' out BS01 the other day and came across an article that made me happy. This was the Maha Article. (Yes, I refuse Mahi. Maha sounds much better). Now, it wasn't necessarily the info there that I like, though that was all very swell, it was the supersized picture of the Maha that made me quite pleased. Ya see, from that picture I think I was able to come up with a fairly accurate representation of a Maha goat.

Wouldn't it be something if we could take the BZP population and teach them all how to better review MOCs? Seriously, if you go to the MOC forum and read the comments you'll see that the majority of them are spam. (And this is putting the bad MOCs aside--I'm just talking about the reviews). I got my two Copies of the 7979 Castle Advent Calendar! It took maybe 10 calls but I was finally able to get through to them. I got my two Sets and I was able to use my Brick Master Coupon for the $5 off (Hey, every dollar counts!) so in about 4-7 business days I shall have my two Sets.
