Updates:

 

-- S&T5 Ranking Poll. :) Congrats to the ten winners! (That poll is just to determine order of listage in BRC. :))

 

-- Ojhilom and I love the theme of the first FCG contest so much we decided to go ahead and enter. :) We've got a test level about haaalfway completed -- the basic gameplay is already playable and it's addictive. :D

 

I don't want to say too much, but I can say it's set on Twisted Island, will be the fifth Paracosmos Bonus Series episode (takes place after Mindfire in late 2006/early 2007 storyline), will center on a new character, and it will be titled "Enigma Pacman." :)

 

[Edit: Oh, and it won't be what I mentioned in the contest topic that Ojh and I had been testing for TMOMN; it's a totally new game, though it does pull in a few tidbits of TMOMN code. What I mentioned will be saved for a bonus TMOMN minigame, most likely.]

 

-- Now if you know anything about both the Paracosmos Bonus Series and simple arithmetic, you're probably wondering why Enigma Pacman will be the fifth episode, not the fourth. That's because the Monstery Mystery short story will be posted soon and will be the fourth. It will serve both to reveal the winner of the Powerpoint Contest and to lead up to the new game.

 

Now, it might end up being a short epic instead of a short story, as a warning. :P If so, it would be posted both as an epic with chapters and as a series of blog entries. That might be more fun as you guys would be able to theorize. :shrugs:

Intresting game title. Have you ever played "Enigma"? You're a black ball, and you roll around trying to get through mazes and solve puzzles. It's very tricky though. :/

Good idea. Speaking of Paracosmos, the sprites from Map of Mata Nui are really good. Can you please put the charasets on a hosting site? (Or at least get the download stuff to download so we can have the Map sprites for our RPGs...)

 

And can you make charaset Visorak that don't require a secondary event? (Just wondering...)

I think I might have played that, 5^5. Played something like it. Not an intentional allusion though.

 

Neya, I plan to draw Visorak for my game, so I might be able to do that. As for putting TMOMN up, siiiigh, I guess. :P We were going to wait till we had the latest update ready, but I guess we could just reupload the last version...

 

I'm also planning on making some Bohrok for my game. I could put both those and vissies up for use. Maaaaybe later this week if I get my baddies drawn on schedule...
