I always felt that way after therapies, only to find that may be the point: the emotional drainage makes room for new, better emotions. It's like going to the bathroom, emotionally.

I've never had therapy. What sort are you taking?

Psychology, EMDR...

It's to help me deal with my past as a victim of severe bullying (beatings, being spit on, being thrown into thorn bushes, being called names etc. aka, physical, mental and emotional abuse on the school playground).
