Another question. If we'll assist at BrickFair should we enter the crabs as separate MOCs, or what should we do with them?

i might make one or two.but i dont know where brick fair is,nor do i know the address.oh well.

I'm not sure what you mean by assisting at Brickfair, but I don't think you'd really need to register the crabs as separate MOCs. You definitely shouldn't if you're just sending some Bionicle crabs (Ussals, Hahnah, etc.); if you actually made crab MOCs for this, you could register them as MOCs, but you don't need to unless you want them identified specifically as such.

If I sent, say a couple Hahnah crabs would it be a good idea to attach a small label on the underside, just identifying that it was mine?

 

Yanno, seeing as there could be loads of near-identical ones.

If you wanted to, but I was actually planning on doing just that with all the crabs we got, to keep them straight, so you don't really need to. Nothing stopping you, though!

I have bout 8 ussals built so far.

 

Also one is purple and another is turqoise.

Good, I was wondering whether I'd have to make mine stand out somehow. "Hey, mine are the ones with the spare part stuck on the bottom."

I made a couple crabs to add on to this (great idea, by the way!), but I couldn't find the pieces, so I have an Ussal look-alike and a crab that looks evil in a cute way. I hope that works .

 

Edit: I also have a Manas. Would that count under "giant crustacean" category?

I might send one or two in, I don't know. And I also have this awesome idea for a sort of crab totem pole, I don't know if that would work though.

No. The convention is actually having its first year in the Dulles Expo Center, the last few years it's been at a Sheraton hotel.
