Yeah, I procrastinated on the kitty pictures. For some reason, I could talk for days about my pets, which I think is really geeky. XD Everybody associates funny pet stories with me. The family animals are my biggest form of entertainment.
First is my oldest and dearest (lol, trite) cat, Peter Tango Boolie. My family tacks a lot of names to our animals. *dizzy* He had the name Tango when we got him from PetsMart (preowned cats are cheaper XD). He earned the names 'Peter', because he is tough and strong like the apostle Peter was, and 'Boolie', because he acts irritated like Ms. Daisy's son, Boolie, from 'Driving Miss Daisy'. Yeah, my dad gave him both those names.
Tango is a sleek Russian Blue, and he's about 9 years old. He's been with me for 8 years. Geez that's long! I had to pull out my old scrapbooks and archive CDs to find good pics of him. After you have an animal for awhile, you stop taking tons of pictures of them.
He LOVES having his picture taken. He always puffs his chest out and looks sharp.
Next is Mango Anderson Stitch. You remember him from my room pictures. His original name is Mango, and we got him as a tiny kitten, along with his brother, Sassafrass. Mango and Sassy were always "partners in crime", and received additional matching names. Sassy's full name was Lilo Sassafrass Arthur. Their names are for 'Lilo and Stitch', and the Arthur and Anderson bit came when they shredded several leftover tax forms. XD Dad said Arthur and Anderson were these partners who messed up people's taxes. *shrugs*
About 3 years ago, Sassy came down with leukemia, and we had put him down. But, more info on him below! Mango is very dumb and forgetful, but patient. He's always the butt of some joke, which makes him angry. Luckily, five minutes later he forgets what happened! Mango is uhh ... 5 years old this month, I think.

Next is Fudge Ripple! He appeared on our front doorstep last February, along with Caramel. I think he's about a year old. Fudge is very skiddish and -will not- come inside the house. He wouldn't let me touch him until last week.
Fudge looks a lot like Sassy did. Sassy was very special to me; he was hilarious and loving. He's probably been my favorite kitty so far. He would come when you called and he would fetch! That's crazy. Awhile after Sassy died, I wanted to get another cat that looked like him, whom I would call Fudge. Lo and behold, my wish came true! ^^ Fudge is the daddy of the coming litter.
Last is little Caramel Machiatto, mother-to-be! Aside from her bulging tummy, she's very petite. I rarely take-in girl cats; after they're fixed, they're often extreme grouches. Maybe it's just my experience (someday I'll tell you about drama queen cat, Marissa.) But, when you let them have at least one litter, usually their attitudes are better after the operation. So, I'm glad Caramel is expecting. It was a huge surprise, though. ><
Caramel is very sweet and caring; perfect mother material. She comes inside to visit sometimes, though she prefers hanging out on our porch. Like Fudge, she just appeared one February day.
Kitty gotta big booty.
Fudge and Caramel together! They spend a lot of time with each other.
I love this picture!! They did this entirely on their own; all paws lined up, in the shape of a heart! Kitty love! *goes crazy*
So yeah, I'm a cat lady, too. Kee. You can see more pet pictures on the Pets section of my Maj gallery. I'll do an entry for my dogs and Jessa's crazy dancing fish, Melvin, sometime. Hope you enjoyed the cute kitties!!
