Yeah that can't happen, especially here. =P

I am not too fond of fireworks either. I'm fine with the official ones that the city puts on (since they do it safely), but not the illegal ones that everyone likes to set off. Not only is it annoying to listen to things go off all afternoon and night, but it's a serious fire hazard as well, especially at this time of year.
