I worked on big important life things while trying to watch it, so I really didn't pay any attention to it at all.

 

I'm going to have to catch a re-air... except I'm on vacation next weekend. Rats.

To be honest it sounds worse than a MIDI, as my band director has one that sounds a bit better than it. =P

we can agree here finally lol. Though I did enjoy quite a few episodes from season 7, this is the first time in a while (barring 50th) where I actually laughed and was thoroughly engaged. I felt it still had pacing issues, but on the whole it was back on form. I really, really, -really- hope they can keep it up.

I've seen the episode three times so far and it really is great. I was a little disappointed they did the "is he good or is he bad" thing again almost exactly like Deep Breath though, I was hoping for a little more solid characterization, and feel they might be playing the "mysterious new Doctor" thing a little too closely. In Eleven's second episode we got a pretty clear "this is my agenda and my morals" whereas Twelve is still kinda ambiguous. Sooo entertaining though, yes, and I was so happy to see Daleks being Daleks again and not just kinda hanging around to remind you that they exist. The parallels to "Dalek" from Series 1 were very chilling. I love the new intro, but that's just me, I love anything so long as it's new

It was a good episode, but ended on a really dark note. I prefer the episodes that end on a more uplifting note, even if the rest of the episode is really dark throughout.
