I think I should catch you up on all of the goings-on...

July 11th: Had a fun party for my maternal grandfather's 89th birthday. I decided to try out a floating thing I got for my mom as an early birthday gift. It kept folding up on me, so I got the nickname "The Human Burrito".

Later, two cousins of mine messed with the GarageBand program on my Mac. One did some awesome impressions of Mel Kiper Jr., Lou Holtz, and Harry Caray. He's going to Appalachian State and is very interested in sports broadcasting. He's quite mild-mannered, but after a couple of clicks, he was literally jumping up and down saying "That is awesome! That is so cool! Oh my gosh that is so cool!"

The other cousin, who is a bit strange, was inspired by the impression of Caray and said this:

Hello everyone ladies and gentlemen this is liiiiive froooom Hoooooouuuustun I'm about to show everyone about the biggest meows of your live! Me-ow, yeah, does everyone like that? Boogity-boogity-boogity whu whu whu I've been looking for my

WHA-WHA-WHA-WHA GABAGEETA whatever that thinks. Live from Houston... wait did I say that right? Is it Houston or Houston? [in british accent] I forgot what my name is, so...good luck Houston [stop british accent] ...uh uh uh.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.... I'M A TYPE OF DAIPER RASH I LOVE TO GO WHEEEEEEEEE in the stands and make lots of noises YEAHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHH I LIKE TO MOVE IT OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH YEAH HUH-THRWOUAGH

Yeah. My dad almost passed out from laughing after hearing that. (He said a lot more crazy things, I'll post them upon request.)

Then we shot the potato cannon right as the rain was starting to just pour. The potato went a long, long ways, but no fireball engulfed the front end of the tube.

The next day, on the twelfth, I got up at about 11:00 from the excitement of the previous day. We drove to my paternal grandmother's house and had a fun time. The ice cream cake we made tasted great, and we shot off all but four of our fireworks. (Those four will go towards the potato cannon.)

And I guess you're wondering what I got? Two pre-ordered Artemis Fowl books (they'll get here in August), a few more very interesting books, Vastus, Stronius, and the SKOPIO XV-1. *awesomeface*

All of which I built there. *doubleawesomeface*

Vastus really isn't that fail. He doesn't look pregnant, he actually looks quite cool. Win tube is also win.

Unfortunately a large thunderstorm hit, we stayed up until 1:30 A.M. in our basement until the storm passed. -_-
