How much better is it than the free version of Game Maker?

My friend bought that a while back. He's a pretty good and part of the Game Maker Community. His name is Wiiowner.

No really, we have several programmer spots open, and you don't have to work on a singe game.

I'd like to get more familiar wit this particular software before I do that.

 

Plus, I have some of my own projects that take priority.

Game Maker is really awesome. The only problem is how glitchy pro tends to be. I've bought it three times right now and got downgraded to Lite. Again. Be careful with your software =P
