The first: green and red don't look too good. It also looks like Roa's Pit Monster MOC (the one for the BBCC)

 

As much as I like using only black for MOCs, I've noticed it gets hard to look at it in detail. Maybe another sub-color?

 

Whenua's looking good, but might the original has silver. Any thoughts on that?

The green is gonna leave, as is the blue, bley, and Mata red.

 

I don't see any completely black MOCs.

 

Yeah, silver's a pain. It generally needs to be a main color, or completely absent from the MOC.

I've tried completely black MOCs and it didn't turn out too well. (I've seen one for a BBCC, the MOC was named "Titan" with his partner "Endar") Is it just me or is this MOC all black? (I'm guessing those MoLi are gunmetal?)

The MoLi are indeed gunmetal, as are the Inika feet, Metru feet, Kanohi Sanok, and the Kalmah foot on its back.

Just make the first one (too tired to type out the full name ) a distinct color.

The design for Whenua's back looks like a rounded mass of flesh jutting out improperly, very out of place- I suggest you try to find some way to fix it.
