Blog Q&A

Welcome to the Blog Q&A. This is your chance to speak directly to the Blog Staff (DeeVee, the Blog Leader, and his assistants Nukaya, Shine, Bfahome, Ta-metru_defender, and Takuma Nuva) and ask any questions you may have about the world of blogs.

Please check out the Blog FAQ first, as your question may have been already answered.

I would say that Toaraga would be the best person to contact on that issue, seeing as he's the Blog Leader. However, Kohaku said in an earlier response that even approved RPGs aren't allowed in blogs, so whether or not approved blog shops would be allowed is up to Toaraga.

I have a question:

Is tehre a content Block Option where you can have a blog archive? If not, then that would be something good to consider, if possible.

There's a Content Block called "My Blog Links," and it has an archive link. Other than that, I'm not sure what you mean.

1.) Yes, you can comment in blogs which have been inactive for more than 30 days. :)

2.) It's a way for members to show their appreciation for other people's blogs by giving them self-made blog approval seals. ;)

Okay,another question:

I got a PM with an approval but it was an image and not a link so I can use it as a picture so the question is:shall I save the picture down to the computer so I can upload it to

image hosting site?

Well, if the member posted, it's already on an image hosting site somewhere. It would be much easier to just do the following:

  1. Right click on the image
  2. On the menu that appears click:
    • On Firefox: Copy Image Location
    • On other browsers: Properties. From this window, find "Image URL" and copy (Edit > Copy or Ctrl + C) the web address that follows.
  3. Right "[ img]" (without the spaces) in the location where you could like to put the image.
  4. Click on the area between "[ img]" and "" (again, without the spaces). Here, paste the URL you copied earlier (Edit > Paste or Ctrl + V).
  5. Submit the entry/comment/post/content block. Your image should appear.
Here's what I mean when I say "'[ img]' and '' (without the spaces)":

Hosting a smaller version of BBCC 47 in my blog would be okay, right? Just as long as I make it clear that it's unofficial?

Sure, go right ahead!

Can I host a fruit war in my blog? Just wondering....

No. Such things are considered being text-based role playing games. As TBRPGs need approved by a forum leader in the forums, they will not be allowed in blogs. Hosting an RPG in a blog would have been a way of bypassing the approval system without this rule. See here for more.

Oh bother, I've taken another rule literally. :P

Use this form:

Blog Name: [Link would be appreciated]

Member Name: [NOT the name of the blog Author of the Blog, but the comment. A link to exact comment will be helpful]

Rule broken: [simply post what it does]

This form says nothing about actual entries. Do I use the same form when reporting entries, or not?

Yup. That will also work for entries.

Is it allowed to have a blog seal approval with something in from a kit that don´t is your kit?

I´m asking because I got a picture of me in my approval and I did myself with Rayg 2.5.

I've been dashing in and out of the loop lately, so pardon me if I sound stupid for saying this, but for some reason Takua the Wanderer's blog is appearing in the Important Community Blogs section, at least on my computer.
