My friend showed me a song recently that made me want to write, or just find, a story where the fate of the world hinges on Pong.

 

And, like, the characters would challenge each other to these world-changing, mind-smashing rounds of the game with:

 

"Let us play Pong."

 

And it'd be all dark and serious and stuff. *makes ominous hand motions for dramatic effect*

Spink buddy I just wanted to comment here because the title of this entry made the banner ad at the top of the forum an ad for musiciansfriend.com and I literally was just on that site checking coated mandolin string prices (to be fair, any time I'm on the internet there's an 85% chance I have a tab from musician's friend open).

 

I guess what I'm saying is that it compelled me to comment. Also, I think you're pretty cool.

I've been getting some more music-related banners up top, ha. I'm no musician, so I'm not very well versed in the wares... just reminds me I ought to pick up something one of these days. (Not likely this year though, with all the moving I have to do and an Australian visit in the summer~)

 

But crazy coincidence, getting the ad for the site you actually use (this never happens to me) and additionally, you're pretty rad yourself.
