The difference between blogs and forums is that in blogs, you can post a Secret Stomache Meassage.

Bfahome -- it's funny to me because it's random. Some like it, some don't.

Is this in any way a response to my entry?

Cuz it certainly is not appreciative if it is.

And Bundalings, -don't- even say it is part of BZP's "culture", cuz it is not and will never be.

No. Sorry, it's a bad coincidence. I didn't post it to annoy you, just something I wanted to do for a while but never got around to.

Is it really up to you what gets sucked into the collective consciousness of BZP?

'Cause it seems to me like most people know and appreciate this bizarre piece of spam. (Though I'm not sure why)

Well it isn't up to you that's for sure.

And Black Six already said it isn't.

If you want to be part of a site that has a culture dedicated to spam and other meaningless crud, then BZP isn't for you.

Culture is not decided by any one entity or group.

Culture is the collective consciousness of everyone.

And while I don't find it funny, that bit of spam is most certainly ingrained into a sizable portion of the site's userbase.

Not anymore. With it being deleted, it no longer is a part.

However I just realized that even repeating it can gain offense, since you are quoting a banned member, and that is certainly not allowed. So please remove it.

So looks like we won't see that message anyways anymore.

I was talking about the users, not the site. Many members, if asked, could produce it.

Anyway I'm pretty sure there's mirrors, lol

But the origin is banned, therefore all productions of it are also banned.

Seriously, go spread your spam elsewhere. BZP doesn't tolerate it all.

Argh I don't like coming back a page to discuss things.

Anyway I've seen it used on AIM, etc.

What I'm trying to say really is that if anyone recognizes a years-old bit of spam, it has gained some significance/ notoriety/ whatever you want to call it.

We aren't talking about AIM. We are talking about BZPower.

And I am saying is that the significance is dead. Staff don't appreciate it. I got rid of it. It is -gone-.

It's just a joke, don't take it so seriously.

When I make an entry saying how I am deleting something and telling people to not praise banned spammers, then you go and make an entry with the same useless message, and then have a small discussion on how it isn't part of our culture, and I say it is dead and should not be on BZP, you go and do the something that you know would set me off.

Not a funny joke.

And banned members and their remnants are not to be discussed. Remove the link. Remove the message.

As I said earlier, it's a (bad) coincidence this was posted at the same time as your entry. I've seen several blogs do this and I figure that if all kinds of other spam is allowed in blogs, then the and then there's certainly nothing wrong with this.

have a small discussion on how it isn't part of our culture,

That was you and Xero.

and I say it is dead and should not be on BZP, you go and do the something that you know would set me off.

Sorry, I thought it would be funny if I linked to its archive.

What about all the other spam phrases that get tossed around these blogs all the time?

But, if you say so, I'll remove them. :(

Something I just realized... you've been banned a couple times yourself... and I see more people praising you than nearly any other member.

"Let us praise Omi."

"Soon it will be a culture that embraces Omi as its one true god."

"You are the awesomest guy ever."

Frankly, this is more offensive to me than conner's praise. But in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter whether a spam topic is kept or not, I just thought it was funny and random at the time it was posted, so it would be cool for me to keep around, but whatever. It amuses me how many people can spell "brakelatabasaasta" correctly. :P

I'll leave this open for another 24 hours if you have anything else you want to say, then I'm locking it.

And to end all of this, my stomach hurts.

Considering how the comment splayed out, it wasn't a smart move at all.

I was banned, which were all fun and games, nothing at all serious. I am a member still. If I remained banned, I wouldn't be praised. One member actually questioned why I was banned (when I was banned), and Black Six closed the topic saying that banned members aren't to be discussed. They are praising a staff member, not a banned member who destroys BZP.

Whats the moral of this story, kids?

Never tick off omi. Cause he gets scary when you do.

The moral of the story is: Omi likes praise, and when someone disagrees with him, he gets peeved. Real peeved.

Seriously Omi, you act like a spoiled child half the time. And you're older than most of us.

And I'm NOT just talking about this spam thing.

Whatever respect I had for you. All gone.
