Why Are There No Good Movies Playing?

Real Life
My family and I want to go and see a movie tonight or tomorrow. My mom and sister don't want to see Gran Torino, and my dad and I don't want to see Bolt. sad.gif

I'm going to suggest Slumdog Millionaire, which is basically Oliver Twist in India. Sure, it's rated R, but that aspect's no worse (probably better) than anything from James Bond. Quite an enjoyable movie. It's half-subtitled, and half in English, in case you're one of those people*. tongue.gif

*I once had 2 counter-guys ask me at Blockbusters whether I really wanted to rent Pan's Labyrinth, since it was in Spanish, not withstanding the fact that English is only a second language for both my parents. I was tempted to act surprised by the fact that it wasn't in Turkish, but that's a whole other story.

Slumdog Millionaire is supposed to be a fantastic film. I haven't seen it yet, but I would like to.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button was good, but probably too slow for a 9 year old.

What about Valkyrie? That was a good movie, IMO.

Didn't really feel like Tom Cruise. shrugs.gif

Oh, BTW, we ended up seeing Bolt (tongue.gif) but my dad and I are going to go and see Slumdog or Gran Torino over the weekend.

Apparently 92% of teens have moved onto rap, and 8% of teens still listen to "real" music...so I guess that means there are absoloutely no deaf teenagers.
