A moment of silence for my MacBook Pro, which would have been 3 if it had lasted until April 29.

 

For some reason, it will not leave sleep mode. Even a hard reboot cannot remove its desire to rest.

 

I'm hoping that it can be fixed, because I hate the trackpad designs on the new models. Words cannot describe my sheer hatred.

 

And, of course, my last Time Machine backup is months old. Stupid me.

 

EDIT: It's not dead! Hooray! I won't have it till Sunday or Monday though, since they have to fix it.

Because they're actually really good products.

 

I hate Windows. It's a terrible operating system.

 

In other news, the problem was that one of the fans had stopped working and was causing the computer to severely overheat. They are going to fix it, fortunately. My computer is not dead after all!

Hm. We'll just have to agree to disagree then.

 

Windows is what I grew up on, so it's what I get. To me, OSX is alien and strange, and their products are just too closed source for my tastes. You feel differently, and you're allowed to.

 

I just have to tolerate your view, not agree with it.
