"See You on the Other Side"
by Ozzy Osbourne
from the album Ozzmosis

---

Voices, a thousand, thousand voices
Whispering, the time has passed for choices
Golden days are passing over, yeah

I can't seem to see you baby
Although my eyes are open wide
But I know I'll see you once more
When I see you, I'll see you on the other side
Yes, I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side

Leaving, I hate to see you cry
Grieving, I hate to say goodbye
Dust and ash forever, yeah

Though I know we must be parted
As sure as stars are in the sky
I'm gonna see you when it comes to glory
And I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side
Yes I'll see you, I'll see you on the other side

Never thought I'd feel like this
Strange to be alone, yeah
But we'll be together
Carved in stone, carved in stone, carved in stone

Hold me, hold me tight, I'm falling
Far away, distant voices calling
I'm so cold, I need you darling, yeah

I was down, but now I'm flying
Straight across the great divide
I know you're crying, but I'll stop you crying
When I see you, I see you on the other side
Yes, I'll see you, see you on the other side
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side, yeah

I'll see you, see you on the other side
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side, yeah
I wanna see you, yeah, yeah, yeah, see you on the other side
God knows I'll see you, see you on the other side, yeah
I'm gonna see you, see you on the other side

Some people ask, "How can one mortal man manage to handle such amazing hair while also totally rocking a sweater vest?"

I don't know how I manage, my friends. I just don't know.

Please stop letting your people murder unicorns. It is terrible and crude. One day, all we will have to look at are other humans and elves and fairies and mermaids because of people like you.
(yes I know whoever the governor is will never see this)

They Came From The Bargain Bin

I love bargain bins.. particularly the ones in the entertainment section of Kmart.

Usually I hate Kmart - poor selection, high prices, and the whole place usually just has this boring sort of atmosphere to it.

But lately it seems that they've been marking prices down and, even better, putting out bargain bins full of inexpensive CDs, mostly reissues of older albums and budget compilation albums.

Such is the case with three of my most recent purchases - The Last in Line by Dio, Under Lock and Key by Dokken, and Schools Out and Other Hits by Alice Cooper, all of which I picked up for $5-$6.

tl;dr bargain bins are cool

A Fad I'd Support

Musical group mascots name/avatar/sig fad, preferably (though not necessarily) heavy metal.

A lot of bands have mascots: Dio has Murray, Iron Maiden has Eddie, Megadeth has Vic Rattlehead, and Disturbed has The Guy for example.

Seriously, it'd be sweet.

Not particularly because I want it back, but rather because then we wouldn't have all of these utterly ridiculous people annoying the heck out of everyone in futile attempts to bring it back.

It's incredibly bizarre seeing actors from kids' shows saying wildly inappropriate things.

On The Subject Of Greatest Hits

Posted by Fox Mulder , Jan 21 2011 · 21 views

Am I the only person left in the world who actually likes greatest hits/best of/compilation albums?

Sure, they're complete and total record company cash-in attempts, but they're immensely useful for cheaply obtaining "essential" songs by artists you like but not enough to invest massive amounts of cash in. They're also excellent starting points for when you want to get into a band but don't know where to begin - such is the case with the Smashing Pumpkins and I. Since getting {Rotten Apples} Greatest Hits, I've gone on to collect each and every one of their studio album releases as well as a number of rare-ish EPs and singles.

It seems like whenever they're mentioned in music topics/forums/chats/reviews/databases, the reaction is overwhelmingly negative - the phrase "just buy their albums" is thrown around a lot.

tl;dr I like greatest hits
