[originally published 3/14/14, updated 6/25/14]

decided to update and republish this, since yesterday I picked up the band's newest album. still missing the Call of the Mastodon compilation of early tracks, but I'll get that eventually.

from the top to the bottom:

- Remission
- Leviathan (Ozzfest Edition, sans slipcase which the used copy I got sadly didn't include)
- Blood Mountain
- Crack the Skye

- The Hunter (unfortunately the version with "Blasteroid" censored, which I was unaware of when I bought it)
- Once More 'Round the Sun

[whispers] theyre all digipaks...its beautiful

no, they're all just booklets because I couldn't take pictures of the cases without getting a lot of glare and reflection

now, with my Opeth and Katatonia collections, those are mostly digipaks and digibooks

edit: switched out the image to avoid further confusion

How do you like Once More 'Round the Sun?

I really like it a lot. definitely better than The Hunter, and I'm probably in a minority on this but I like it more than Crack the Skye honestly.
I'd say it's about as good as Blood Mountain, maybe even slightly better since the songs are more immediately enjoyable whereas that album was a grower.
