should I actually use this blog for stuff?

like the title says. I used to update this pretty often but for the past couple years I've only really used it to post music collection updates that nobody reads, with the occasional random musing here or there. I've got a tumblr (which I so can't link here) where I do most of my actual blogging and updates and stuff, but it feels weird having a blog here and doing absolutely nothing with it. I just don't know what to do with it. I'm not exactly the picture of activity on this site (especially considering my interest in Lego/Bionicle is below 0% at this point, so I rarely if ever post in those subforums) but I'm still more active in COT and stuff than I am here in my own blog.

 

I also used to have it pretty well decked out with graphics and stuff but now it's about as bare-bones as you can get.

 

so yeah, suggest stuff I can post here, I guess. this blog used to be semi-active and fairly popular and now it's just dead.

I usually post thoughts on movies and/or TV shows, anything interesting that happened to me at that time, or a funny story I heard and/or read about that I think would be interesting to post in an entry. I also ask random questions sometimes, just to see what others say. Maybe you could blog about one of these things? Or maybe you could post your thoughts on events that take place in the COT forum? If you are active there, maybe something happens that you want to blog about?

I've done a few brief entries for movies I've seen in theaters, and I've been considering doing entries about new episodes of TV shows and anime I watch. not a whole lot of interesting stuff happens in my life, although there have been a few incidents I probably could've posted about. might go ahead and do that sometime. asking random questions isn't really my thing, though on the flipside I've thought about posting a Q&A/AMA-type entry just for the heck of it.

 

Or maybe you could post your thoughts on events that take place in the COT forum? If you are active there, maybe something happens that you want to blog about?

 

pretty much all of my activity in COT is confined to music-related topics, and nobody ever really comments on the blog entries I post about that, which I guess makes sense considering my taste in music is probably a bit more obscure than that of the average BZPower user.

 

Post pictures of yourself owling.

 

I had to look that up. jesus. why is this a thing?

No, you shouldn't. :P

 

I don't know what to use a blog for. Mine is filled with lame project announcements, random thoughts, random life stories, and peanut butter.
