Mini Fig Stands

I think I've blogged about this before... even posted a picture. But anyway, updates.

So yeah I built a couple of minifig stands for display purposes. But instead of lengthy descriptions, I'll let the images show off most of them.

I redid all of the layers and did a better job color-coordinating them and spacing out the standing areas for the figs. I arranged it so I can squeeze 11 figs on each layer, with 5 distinct layers. The top one is still a little bare to allow for future figs... either more collectibles or some Super Heroes I might pick up. (And as you can guess, I decided not to arrange them based on collectible series... the only real organized group is the Star Wars one, which got updated when I traded a bunch of figs from Dan Parker, Swert's boss.)

Also, Crab-fig on motorcycle. Boo-Yah!

Here is my Ninjago stand. Basically, I used the Blacksmith Shop and added two levels beneath it. I have the Ninjas in their traditional garb on the bottom level, 3 of em in their ZX uniforms (missing Cole, will get him this summer), and then the four of them in their traditional garb but with hair. (I used a HP black hairpiece for Cole cause I haven't purchased the actual one yet.) Oh, and Nya and Samurai X are included. I need Sensei Wu, and I suppose I could work on the levels and allow for some of the Skeletons / Snakes, even tho I don't have many of them.

Oh, and there's a special Kohrok ontop of everything. Sure, it's not Ninjago-storyline accurate, but the Bohrok has a prototype clear head plate plus glow in the dark eyes. So it's there to stay.

Finally, a stand showing off some characters from one of my stories. Basically, the top is the main characters, the mid level is the secondary characters, and the bottom is mostly miscellaneous baddies. It makes sense to me anyway, and since I've had most of these figs customized for years and I don't want to tear them apart, it's cooler to have them on display instead of in storage.

Anyway, took some pictures between studying. Will probably post some more soon. Also need to get back to posting my 36 Mask Rahi so that they get some publicity online before they show up at the convention.
