BrickBadge

Every event has Brick Badges, which are usually made out of engraved bricks. My problem with them is that they tend to break easily, so for Bricks Cascade I designed a reinforced badge that held together fairly well. (Sure, the bottom bricks did break off at one point and fall into an elevator shaft... but I have since dealt with that weak point.)

As such, I was surprised when Kakaru informed me that this years BrickCon Badges are merely 1x6x5 bricks with printing on them. :( Totally lame, because now I can't break up the witty-comments I submitted. Also, this forced me to do a complete redesign of my brick badge to ensure that all the bricks I want are visible and it is still reinforced.

If Kakaru was just messing with me and we still get individual bricks... my badge will need another redesign! If this is the case, I cannot be held responsible for what I will do to him... or his MOCS. :fear:

Also, BRICKCON THIS WEEKEND YAY!

A 1x6x5 brick would be the worst thing to do. Worse even than the giant baseplate that Brick Fiesta used in 2011.

>baseplate

What?

Imagine a 16x8 baseplate with a magnet on the back. Now, instead of engraved bricks, put engraved tiles on it (like the ones you get with your name at BrickFair). Also, a mini-mosaic of the Texas state flag. None of us BZPers actually wore them.
