It's kind of sudden too. He's huge and he gets, what, knocked down? Dead? They at least could have given him a battle, but he would have won that.

I don't see why anyone is sad about Botar... I mean, he was hardly in the story at all. He really didn't even have a personality.

He was a buit of a deus ex machina. He aways knew where he was needed, and would transport any defeated baddies straight to The Pit. Now that he's gone, the Order of Mata Nui have lost a valuable resource... thus tipping the sales in the favour of the Makuta.

 

But I was still shocked to hear that he died. At least it was Icarax that killed him - I tihnk it served to remind people how strong Makuta really are, becuase that aspect has been overlooked a bit as of late.

Come on, this has multiple meanings!

 

Rip and Tear: two words that are synonyms and mean to shred things. Aka, what was done to Botar.

 

RIP and tear: Acronym for "Rest in Peace" and those things that come out of your eyes when you cry... for people who are sad that big scary dude is gone.

 

I don't think the humor of this play on words was evident here. Oh well.
