Summer Employment?
It's just as I feared.
Doing landscaping, housework projects. For my family. To pay of debts from the school year.
On the brighter side, I'd getting more credit 'cause my dad's also paying one of my friends to help. So now it's on an hourly basis pay instead of the by job pay. Making $47.89* an hour!
On the darker side, it's doing hard work in hot weather. Now I remember why I dislike the sun... I forget that kind of think after months of rain.
I'll still search for some jobs, but no real luck. I do have a tip for collage students willing to go to work for anything. Vector is willing to hire anybody regardless of experience! The downside? They pay you minimum wage (or below that) and you have to go door to door selling knives. So I turned it down... but they did accept me. (AKA, they're desperate)
Other problems consist of the fact that I'm getting out of school nearly a month after other people, and I haven't actually put any effort beforehand to look for a job. But, hey, when in doubt, I can always do land work for the folks.
And with this all added up, I'm working on my story at Midnight. Aw well.
*Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, because I don't actually plan to tell you how much I'm "making" to pay off the debts.
