I am new here, how do I get that point meter or whatever it is up??

That little bar , and what about the masks and kranas? Where do you get them? Are they important?

 

That bar you are referring too is called your Proto Energy (PE). Yours is at half right now, and if you do good things on BZPower, such as giving them news, helping out members, becoming a Premier Member, your Proto Level will go up. It's rare that it does though, and you shouldn't ever ask a staff member for Proto. Right now, my Proto level is this. It got that way from me becoming a Premier Member, and from me reporting an article of news to them. If you do bad things on BZPower, your Proto level might go down.

 

The masks and krana that you referred to are called "perks", and they are simply images that symbolize your rank on BZPower. Your rank goes up when you post in topics in the BZPower Forums. Right now, I have 830 posts, so my rank is "Swarm Scavenger", and as I continue to post, that rank will go up. Unfortunately, you can only get the pictures if you pay a small amount of money to BZPower and become a Premier Member. I am a Premier Member, so I get the images. You can tell who is a Premier Member and who isn't by their posts. Above the words that tell you how many posts they have, a post tells you what group they are in. Hope this helps!
