Eyelids Heavy As Lead

Posted by The Dandy Automaton , Apr 14 2012 · 60 views

Okay guys, here's a little bit of advice from me to you: If you have to be up at 7 in the morning, do not, and I repeat, do not go to bed at 4:30am. Time likes to crawl by when you're tired. It took two boiling hot cups of tea and some very scalded taste buds before I finally managed to break out of my tired stupor at work today.

So, I've returned to my old regime of only using my left hand to do things. Why, you ask? Well, you're probably not asking, but I'm gonna tell you anyway. Another one of my objectives is to become ambidextrous. I don't have a reason for it, it's not going to assist me in later life, nor does it particularly impress people, but I just want the ability to say I am. I think it's for the same reason why I'm learning to draw and improving my writing, because I hate myself when I know there's something I can't do, so I want to go all out to do it. Other objectives include learning to play an instrument, such as the piano with the assistance of a good friend, and possibly working on my singing voice. Maybe. I just don't want to hear that flat drone when I'm singing along to a bawlin' song.

I would love to be ambidextrous, but it's so frustrating trying to do something with my left hand... especially drawing ><

I am ambidextrous. It's natural to me.

Luckily my left hand is pretty strong. While not nearly as capable as my right, I'm only a few steps from being ambidextrous. My handwriting with it is neater than that of some of my friends.

Both my hands are as [rubbish] as eachother.

...re-reading this entry, I guess I should get started working on my left-hand skills as well - just in case I injure my right hand or something (which I am really really scared of, seeing as I draw a lot...)

Researching online, that's the reason most people train their other hand. I'm not really concerned about that, given I rarely partake in activities that could be dangerous to my right hand. Unless something truly awful occurs with my keyboard...

I'm dyspraxic, so there's always some part of me that is damaged at any time. XD

I have never broken a bone in my body. I think I'm a little too careful sometimes.

I've done worse. Gone to bed at 4:30 and gotten up at 6:15.

I'm left handed; maybe if I started doing more things with my right hand I wouldn't get so annoyed by right handed scissors.

Well, nothing really bad has happened to me so far, either... but life's still sorta long. =/
